Our Sunset Place sits on the shore of Catawba Island, in the middle of everything the Lake Erie shore and the islands have to offer — beaches and parks, sailing and sport fishing, the wineries and the orchards, a festival most weekends of the season.

Each of the four guest rooms has a private bathroom, a 40-inch 4K television, and a picture window over Lake Erie — a front-row seat for the sunsets the house is named after. There is a forty-three-foot deck above the gardens and the water, and a hot tub, and a full hot breakfast served out on that deck every morning.

Your host is Bart Erwin, along with Gus, his Chesapeake Bay retriever.

A deposit of one night's stay confirms your reservation. Cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted. Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of arrival; before that a $25 administrative fee applies. Children over 18 are welcome with their parents. All rooms are non-smoking. We can't accommodate pets, but we're glad to help you find a local kennel. Gift certificates are available for any occasion.
